We are delighted and honoured that Khandro Thrinlay Chodon has accepted our invitation to teach at the centre, at very short notice. Please see below for her biography.
We expect these teachings to be very popular, and registration is strongly recommended. Priority will be given to Dharma Centre members. If you want to register, please email treasurer@dharmacentre.org.nz.
The registration fee is $10 per class, and can be paid in cash (only) at the centre, or by bank transfer to 38-9006-0765486-09 (Lake Street Trust). Dana (donations) for the teacher will also be gratefully accepted. For more details, please read our page on Dana and Fees.

Biography
Khandro Thrinlay Chodon is a female Buddhist teacher, who shares the wisdom of her ancient tradition, bringing its relevance to life for us in this modern age. Here, briefly is her story.
Khandro Thrinlay Chodon was born in Kardang Gompa, Lahoul, high in the Indian Himalayas. Ancient texts speak of this power place as Garsha — Land of the Blissful Dakinis, where many yogis attained realisation. Her family were great Himalayan yogis and yoginis, renowned for their extensive and pure practice. From a young age, Khandro Thrinlay Chodon trained in the practices of Vajrayana Buddhism while growing up in the embrace of an environment where spirituality was an integral part of everyday life. Since her childhood she manifested an extraordinary inner strength and resilience to not only absorb this sublime yogic tradition but also to take it forward in her own unique and vibrant way. more
