Teachings and Practices with Jakob Leschly
We are delighted to be able to host Jakob Leschly in Queenstown this year as part of his NZ tour. Jakob (see below for a biography) will be teaching as follows:
Friday Nov 22 6.30-8 pm
Why Buddhism?
The Buddha promoted enquiry as the way to understand his teaching. For anyone curious about Buddhism, or wishing to understand its foundations.
Sat Nov 23, 10am – 4pm
Head and Heart in the Mahamudra Lineage
The Mahamudra view is founded on the logic of the Middle Way, yet its practice is about direct experience where devotion to the lineage is the very core. We will combine the theory and the practice of the path.
The Friday class is free, and there is a $20 charge for the Saturday class, both payable on the door. Please BYO lunch on Saturday (refreshments will be provided). Out of respect for the teacher, please arrive early so as to be seated and settled before the start time.
Donations (dana) for the teacher gratefully accepted.
